    June 16 - Sept. 1: Los Alamos Summer Concert Series
    Spend your summer Fridays at Ashley Pond Park in Los Alamos enjoying the range of musical acts that make up this free concert series.

    June 17: Annual Butterfly Run
    Begin your Father's Day weekend with a 5K run or 1 mile fitness walk, hosted by the Pojoaque Wellness Center and starting at the Poeh Cultural Center.

    June 19: Periodic Table on plant research
    Project Y coworking space is the location for the latest Periodic Table informal science discussion from the Laboratory’s Bradbury Science Museum. LANL plant physiologist Sanna Sevanto will present on plant research to address global issues.

    June 21, 22: Frontiers in Science
    In Los Alamos (June 21) and Santa Fe (June 22), the Los Alamos National Laboratory Fellows present the free lecture series Frontiers in Science with Andrea Schmidt and John Singleton, the duo behind the award-winning LightSlinger, a new antenna that generates radio waves from faster-than-light currents.

    June 23: Taos Opera Institute performance
    As part of the month-long Taos Opera Institute’s program for promising performers, the 23 students will be performing for free at Edelweiss Lodge at the Taos Ski Valley.

    June 23: Free concert at the Santa Fe Railyard
    Head to the Santa Fe Railyard Plaza for this free concert by acclaimed blues and soul singer Shemekia Copeland.

    July 4: Pancakes on the Plaza
    The 46th annual event turns the Santa Fe Plaza into a giant pancake cook-out, with the Rotary Club raising money for the Santa Fe Children’s Museum and YouthWorks.

    July 8: ScienceFest Discovery Day
    As just part of the range of events across the 11 days of the festival, the Laboratory’s Challenge Tomorrow STEM education trailers will be setting up at Ashley Pond Park along with other fun science-related interactive activities.

    July 13: Santa Fe Chamber Business Achievement Awards
    This year’s awards gala takes place at the Farmer’s Market Pavilion, honoring the best of the City Different’s businesses.
