Lab employees recognized as emerging leaders in the region
The Santa Fe Hispanic Chamber of Commerce honored two Laboratory employees for their achievements at its third annual "40 Under Forty" awards event Sept. 14. Matthew Oakeley and Allison Dowdy were named honorees at the event, which recognizes 40 New Mexican rising leaders in their field of work and who are making a positive impact in the community. Mark Davis, chief operations officer for Weapons Production at the Laboratory, spoke at the event. "As we have grown our workforce at the Laboratory over recent years, we have seen a changing demographic among employees and we appreciate the new ideas, leadership and perspectives they bring,” said Davis. Through Triad, the Laboratory was a platinum sponsor for the event, having supported the initiative since its inception.
