Halloween Clean
Things get scary around the Taos Plaza Oct. 31 at the town’s Halloween community event.

Oct. 25-27: Halloweekend in Los Alamos
The Secret City gets spooky with a range of Halloween activities including High-Tech Halloween at the Bradbury Science Museum during Friday’s Trick–or-Treat on MainStreet, and Saturday’s Pumpkin Glow and Show. Full events listing here.  

Oct. 26: Española Fall Festival
Española Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts this family-friendly festival at Northern New Mexico College with games, pumpkin painting, a costume contest and a “trunk or treat” candy giveaway.

Oct. 29: Weird Science Halloween Bash
Santa Fe Children’s Museum hosts this fundraising night of Halloween fun, complete with hands-on activities, music and the chance to trick-or-treat through the museum. Laboratory operator Triad is proud to be a sponsor.

Oct. 31: Taos Halloween community event
Taos Plaza and nearby streets offer up some ghoulish fun with a Halloween event for children and families featuring trick-or-treating, carnival games, face painting and a costume contest. 

Nov. 2-3: Dixon Studio Tour
Take advantage of the bright fall weather to explore a range of work from artists, artisans and craftspeople in the studios, galleries and homegrown businesses in and around Dixon.

Nov. 2-3: Rio Grande Sky Fiesta
Los Luceros Historic Site hosts Northern New Mexico’s first ever balloon fiesta, organized by the Northern Rio Grand National Heritage Area. The event includes two mass ascensions, a balloon glow, local food and regional vendors.

Nov. 6: Recruiting and retaining board members
This free workshop from the Santa Fe and Taos Community Foundations, held at the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos, looks at strategies to build a diverse board and handle term limits for board members.

Nov. 23: Pathways winter market
Organized by the Poeh Cultural Center and held at Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino in Santa Fe, this market showcases the art, crafts and traditions of Indigenous communities featuring over 200 vendors, live music and Pueblo dancers.
