June 26-27: Climate Security Symposium
Join the brightest minds in climate, energy and policy for a symposium on climate security from the Laboratory's Center for National Security and International Studies, in collaboration with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine. Experts will tackle tough climate questions from a multidisciplinary perspective, live from Santa Fe, with a free virtual attendance option.

July 4: Independence Day

July 4: Pancakes on the Plaza
The 47th annual event turns the Santa Fe Plaza into a giant pancake cookout, with the Rotary Club raising money for the Santa Fe Children’s Museum and YouthWorks.

July 7: Extended hours at Los Luceros
Los Luceros Historic Site in Alcalde offers extended hours from sunrise to sunset on the first Sunday of each month, complete with a guided bird walk and an interactive storytelling and musical performance from Gregorio Gonzalez (Comanche & Genízaro). Admission is free for New Mexico residents.

July 10: Simple steps to start your business
The first part of a five-part online series from WESST talks entrepreneurs and small business owners through a roadmap to help launch and grow their business.

July 12: Coffee and Biz-Connections
Cisneros Design hosts this business networking event from the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce at Capitol Coal Neighborhood Eatery. Registration required.

July 13: ScienceFest Discovery Day
As just part of the range of events across the five days of the festival in Los Alamos, the Laboratory’s Challenge Tomorrow STEM education trailers (and other Lab-related activities) will be setting up at Ashley Pond Park joining a whole range of fun science-related happenings.

July 25: Jimmy Stadler and the Chris Arellano Band 
As part of the Taos Plaza Live free concert series, Jimmy Stadler and the Chris Arellano Band will perform at the gazebo on the plaza.
