Pinon Awards
The New Mexico Acequia Association was among the honorees at last year’s Piñon Awards for regional nonprofits. The deadline for this year’s nominations is May 10.

April 18: Business Expo and Career Resource Fair
Join representatives from the Laboratory at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center for the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce’s one-stop event for business networking, job hunting, resources and advice.

April 19: Dive In Movie
Enjoy a movie while floating in the (warmer than usual) main pool at the Los Alamos Aquatic Center, complete with treats. 

April 24: Career Fair
Talk with employers from multiple career fields including healthcare, education, arts and communication, trades, science, and engineering at this free Santa Fe Community College event for students and community members.

April 27: Arbor Day in Taos
Celebrate Arbor Day with tree planting, tree surveying and lunch for volunteers, hosted by the Town of Taos Tree Board, Taos MainStreet, and the LOR Foundation.

May 3: Deadline for RDC Micro-Grant Fund
Awards of up to $3,000 are available from the RDC to help Northern New Mexico businesses grow, diversify, and create job opportunities. All applicants have access to technical support and information on other funding opportunities, whether or not they receive funding.

May 10: Deadline for Piñon Awards nominations
The Santa Fe Community Foundation has opened nominations for its annual Piñon Awards, which honor regional nonprofits. Four winning nonprofits will be recognized at an awards ceremony in the fall and receive general operations grants.
