Stem Santa Fe
The Nov. 4 STEM Pathways for Girls Conference at Santa Fe Community College features a full day of hands-on STEM workshops for girls in fifth to eighth grade.

Oct. 23-25: Outdoor Economics Conference
Santa Fe hosts this conference that looks to help advance economic development strategies and opportunities connected to protected public lands, highlighting successful community economic development efforts in New Mexico an beyond that are connected to protected lands and exploring local entrepreneurship connected to these opportunities.

Oct. 27-29: Halloweekend in Los Alamos
The Hidden City gets spooky with a range of Halloween activities including High-Tech Halloween at the Bradbury Science Museum during Friday’s Trick or Treat on Mainstreet, and Saturday’s Pumpkin Glow and Show. Full events listing here.  

Oct. 28: Enchanted Fall Festival
Northern New Mexico College (in conjunction with Española Valley Chamber of Commerce) hosts a spooky day of fun, with movies, pumpkin painting, costume contest and a “trunk or treat” candy giveaway.

Oct. 31: Taos Halloween community event
Taos Plaza and nearby streets offer up some ghoulish fun with a halloween event for children and families featuring trick-or-treating, carnival games, face painting and a costume contest. 

Nov. 1: Career and Transfer Fair at Santa Fe Community College
Head to SFCC to connect with local employers and 4-year transfer institutions ready to share information with students and community members. 

Nov. 4: STEM Pathways for Girls Conference
STEM Santa Fe offers girls in fifth to eighth grade, a full day of hands-on STEM workshops, a STEM fair and a chance to check out the Laboratory’s Challenge Tomorrow trailers at this conference at Santa Fe Community College.

Nov. 14: Building blocks of grant writing
Join the Los Alamos Community Foundation in person (at UNM-Los Alamos) or online for this free workshop for nonprofits providing practical tips for preparing a grant application.

Nov. 16: Women’s Leadership Luncheon
The Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce hosts their annual women’s leadership luncheon at the Eldorado Hotel, with networking time, a keynote speaker and then a panel conversation exploring how successful women have built their careers.
