Dec. 19-22 - Holiday crafts and movies
In the week before Christmas the Española Public Library is offering free holiday hands-on craft sessions and holiday movies - perfect for the little ones as they prepare for the big day!

Dec. 22-24 - A Retro Nutcracker
Ballet Taos is back with a  reimagined interpretation of the classic holiday tale, set in the 1950s. Ballet Taos dancers are joined by professional guest artists for the four shows at the Taos Community Auditorium (TCA).

Dec. 25: Christmas Day

Dec. 31 - New Year’s Eve on the Plaza
The City of Santa Fe hosts the annual celebration, featuring live music, bonfires, food trucks, and highlighted by the rising of the Zia symbol and fireworks at midnight.

Jan. 1, 2023 - New Year’s Day

Jan. 17 - Deadline for LANL Foundation’s four-year scholarship applications
Students from Northern New Mexico who meet the eligible criteria are encouraged to apply for these four-year undergraduate scholarship awards, which are funded largely by contributions from Laboratory employees. More details here.

Jan. 23 - Weaving Together lecture and pop-up
The International Folk Market’s Folk Art Matters lecture series continues with a lecture on art, culture and community by Japanese artist and kimono maker Maki Aizawa.

Jan. 23 - Santa Fe Chamber Legislative Reception
Join the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, legislators, other chambers, advocacy organizations and community partners at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center as they connect business professionals with policy makers at the start of the 2023 legislative session.

Jan. 24  - Nonprofit Governance and Meeting Management
The Los Alamos Community Foundation hosts this training session giving practical advice for nonprofit boards on governance and meetings best practices. Participants are encouraged to bring more than one person from their organization.
