About the speaker
Tommy Rockward is a research scientist in the Materials, Physics and Applications Group at Los Alamos National Laboratory. In addition to his fuel cell research, his work over 20 years at LANL has included cathodes, bipolar plates and contaminants issues. Rockward served as the U.S. international representative to establish a hydrogen fuel standard for the Department of Energy’s Safety, Codes and Standards subprogram. He has co-authored several publications and received two patents. He is also a co-founder of LANL’s African American Partnership Program (AAPP), which offers research experiences for graduate students in STEM disciplines.
