On Wednesday, Dec. 6, you’ll have opportunities to see the Bradbury through its own eyes with morning museum tours. Take a brief exploration of the Bradbury with the museum’s director, Linda Deck, followed by a closer look at some of its most interesting objects with collections specialist Wendy Strohmeyer. Each tour will be offered twice in the morning. Schedules are below.
At noon, join us for a special talk about our namesake, Norris E. Bradbury. National Security Research Center’s senior historian, Alan Carr, will give an engaging presentation about the Laboratory’s second and longest-serving director. This event is expected to reach full capacity, and seating is limited. After the talk, be sure to stick around for cake!
All events are free. We are excited to share our 60th anniversary with you and look forward to the years ahead filled with more science, history, gathering and fun.
